BLOOD DRIVESunday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Ed Burns Memorial Rink
422 Summer Street, Arlington, MA.
Arlington Youth Baseball and Softball Association is sponsoring a blood drive in honor of Catherine Malatesta
to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).
There is always a need for blood, especially with so many blood drives canceled,
due to the harsh weather this past winter.
Catherine is a 16 year old life-long resident of Arlington, and former A.Y.B.S.A. softball player, who is currently fighting soft tissue sarcoma. Along with extensive chemotherapy and radiation, as part of her treatment, Catherine has needed multiple blood transfusions.
Please consider donating blood as part of this drive to help ensure sufficient supply for cancer patients like Catherine.
Visit the link below and schedule a convenient 15 minute block of time as we strive to help Dana Farber Cancer Institute meet patient requirements.
Please note: You must sign up in advance for a 15 minute block of time to donate blood on May 3rd. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins that day.
GOOD NEWS THE TOWN HAS GIVEN US THE THUMBS UP TO INSTALL OUR SCOREBOARD! THE SNOWS MELTING AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU'LL BE HEARING "PLAY BALL!"
