A.Y.B.S.A. BASEBALL: FALL TRYOUTS PLEASE REGISTER ASAP

A.Y.B.S.A. BASEBALL: FALL TRYOUTS

THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 22

REMEMBER YOU MUST REGISTER TO TRYOUT!

NOTE: PLAYERS WHO ARE ALREADY DRAFTED TO A MAJOR LEAGUE TEAM ONLY HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE 2018 SEASON AND DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND THE TRYOUTS!

WHO:  The fall tryouts are required for ALL players baseball ages 10, 11, and 12 for 2018 season

WHY: Arlington Youth Baseball starting this year, will do 2 tryouts (fall and spring) in order to allow players ample opportunities to show their skills. All players who are registered and paid will be drafted onto a team after the spring tryout.

You must try out to be considered for a Major League team.

WHERE: Tryouts are at Buck Field, Summer Street

WHEN: The tryouts are scheduled for SUNDAY October 22 with players assigned a time based on the first letter of their last name (as shown below).

WHAT: The players will go through multiple skill disciplines, such as: fly balls, infield, throwing, hitting and running.

Note:  Questions always come up, so we will answer them now. YES, you can come earlier or later, if your schedule demands it. You would just inform the COACHES when you get there. The next question is what happens, if I can’t make it. WELL, you can still play (if registered and paid) but it lowers your exposure to the coaches who are trying to figure out who you are. The final question (and answer) is that there is no other time (unless the whole tryout is washed out).

TIMES:

 Players:  A – C   9: 15

 Players:  D – F   9: 30

 Players:  G – H   9: 45

Players:  I – L     10:00
